I don’t see a reason why arena/duel have a shuffle loot system when you can’t even tell which is which afterwards. This feature should be change. It actually makes a lot of sense.

Edit:

The arena’s matching lineups is unbalance. I’ve read somewhere here in the forum that it takes the total BR (battle rating) of the 3-man team to match against another but there was a trick lately to have 2 average BR members and 1 overpowered/overleveled character to win 30 times in a row. This sucks and needs to be fixed.

Here’s some new suggestion:
- Item or gold transfer thru mail (although abusable at some point setting a limit would fix this issue)
- Typing YES everytime I sell some important items is annoying and time consuming. Hope this could be changed.
- There should be varying awards/bonuses in the campaign for different ranks

I agree with BunnyKing77’s post, specifically the bolded part (excluding the sentence before the last, actually read only the bolded part). The battle system can still be improved.

Ever fought an RPG in which you manage to beat an enemy boss both level and stat superior to you? However, in almost all mmorpg, you simply win because you have better stats difference on your opponent. I’m not suggesting for underleveled character to beat opponents 10 levels above them strategically because that would be broken but it would be better if within a bracket of levels, there should be a glimmer of hope to beat stronger opponents, battle wise. And of course, I have nothing against balens users. They must still have the advantage but still beatable with strict planning and being prepared by even non-balens users, with luck of course.

The battle system is kinda static and boring compared to Valkyrie Profile turn-based battle. I know the difference between the two before anyone argues for it but fun-factor wise, and since I’ve played it first, this game loses some points for me, but just a little. Moreover, you press a button and that’s it. I could even ctrl-tab in between my turn and read a manga page.

I know the limits but it can still be improved by adding other elements, as what BunnyKing77 said.

Battle system suggestion:
-QTE (check) : if there could be more of this
-Pets : pets are awesome!
-Mercenary during MP : those spaces may still have some uses
-Interactive Sub-skills : something like pressing a button before an enemy attack would able you reduce the dam. intake
-Specific Targeting : i love the randomness but just saying
-Front/Back/Mid column or row bonuses : i’m not sure about this but each should have minor bonuses for each class
-Switching positions : there should be some options or command wherein you could swap places during a fight but there should be limit to this or else formation prior to the battle/dungeon is useless

That’s all my suggestion,as of now. I hope I didn’t offend anyone.

I’ve only played for 1 day and I have 2 major suggestions:

1. Timer Server – this would be a great help for everyone who is not in the same timezone
2. Graphics Adjust – low/med/high for slow computers
3. Mini-Installer – would help a lot since this game takes about 70mb in the flash local storage

Topic: Critter Forge / Newbie Questions

What traits are worth leveling?
What traits are worth to get?

So far this the traits I found good to keep (green values):
Nimble
Aggressive
Voracious
Liberator
Environment Affinity(?)

When is a good time to ‘Retire’ a critter? I’m really thinking about retiring my first pet since I can’t buy the fifth stable (4000green coins) in order to breed my owlbear to the next level (dreaming to get tier 4 ASAP).
