His ability is called “Reaping Curse 2: Undead”, and the ability of other creatures matching what is granted is called “Reaping Curse”, but the ability description says that it grants “Killing Curse 2”. Is this a mistake? Was “Killing Curse” the original name of “Reaping Curse”?

Additionally, Varkus the Blight’s ability “Soul Harvest” says “Whenever an enemy creature is killed, it gains +1 Attack, +1 Life”. Right now, this is saying that the (now dead) enemy creature is gaining the stats.

OK, so a handful of abilities in the game are paired as opposites.

Some of them are fairly straight-forward…

Heal – Strike
Enfeeble – Protect
Rally – Weaken
Flying – AntiAir
Counter – Leech
Armor – Pierce
Payback – Tribute

Some of them aren’t.

Wall – Fear
Stun – Flurry
Mimic – Chaos
Siege – Repair (not available to players)
Supply – Swipe
Evade – Emulate
Refresh – Regenerate
Valor – Legion
Crush – Siphon

And then there are some that don’t really fit into pairs at all.

Jam, Burst, Blitz, Augment, Berserk, Cleanse, Disease, Summon, Poison.

Now, out of these, there are some that have potential opposites:

Augment – Diminish
Diminish: Decrease the effectiveness of an enemy unit’s Activation skills to a minimum of 1 (example using Diminish 1: Strike 2 = Strike 1)

Burst – Bulwark
Bulwark: If this unit’s health is at max, it takes reduced attack damage.

Berserk – Fortify
Fortify: When this unit takes attack damage, it permanently gains Armor.

Any thoughts? Does anyone have any other ideas for counterpart cards?

OK, one by one.

Elusive Panzer:
Three wait for 4/7, armored 2, anti-air 4, and Evade. There’s not much to compare from here, but I’ll go with Vaporwing. One less wait, three less health, Anti-Air 4 traded for Flying. This seems pretty fair, maybe a little on the strong side, but it IS an upgraded rare, so that’s fine.

Savior: Three wait for Protect/Rally All Imperial 1, Mimic, and 3/9. The closest comparison is probably going to be Pip, Epic Arbiter with one more wait, Legendary status (compared to Unique Rare), universal buffs rather than faction-specific, -1/+2 for stats, and Tribute rather than Mimic. I’d say that this is, again, a little on the strong side, and may need to be kept at 2 attack or have Rally All Imperial 1 changed to, say, Rally Imperial 2. -1 cooldown is already a decent guff for an upgrade and doesn’t really warrant that much else being tacked on – see Chronos (-1 cooldown) or Feral Scorpion (-1 cooldown, Siphon 2 → Siphon 4.

Hygeia: Blatantly overpowered with 4/7/2 when the highest stats on a 2-wait card are 4/5/2, and that’s without three defensive abilities already. Leave the attack at 2.

Special Forces: Effective 5/7/2 with Immobilize and Tribute. Once again, don’t be so quick to lower the cooldown and STILL pile on the buffs.

Destructive Ram: I’m sensing a theme here. If you’re really dead-set on reducing the cooldown for this one, please, for the love of god, don’t increase the attack on an assault with Berserk. Leave its attack at 2 and its health at 8, and even then, it’s still on the strong side.

Avatar: This one actually isn’t so bad. You might want to consider leaving the Valor at 2 instead of 3, though – when outnumbered, this would be, on average, a 7.5/7/2 with Evade. Leave it at an average 6/7/2. Another idea would be to take off the Evade and replace it with, say, Pierce 1 or 2, as Flurry units tend to have trouble with large amount of armor that end up reducing their attack multiple times in one hit.

Dismiss wouldn’t return the creature to your hand, it would just remove the card from play entirely.

Bowser in Super Mario Bros. 64 can spit fire that covers the whole map in the final boss fight, but Mario can’t! This is clearly unfair. Are you seriously telling me that the developers of Super Mario Bros. 64 are worse than the players? BS. He’s cheating.
