[Skyshard Heroes] Lets Cut To the Chase
People play this game to progress and compete with other players. Chances are, you do all of the following when playing: Upgrade building. Fight other players and AI in Rivals page. Conquer in Conquest Map. Campaign Missions. Etc.
But what if there is more and other players get a advantage over you? Well, others would lose insensitive to play, some will complain, and others would do the same thing. These “advantages” are the following: Purchase skystones. Hack or abusing a exploit. Use of alt accounts. PvP Veterans vs Noobs. Etc.
Now, I haven’t bought any skystones as of yet and those who have, called Wallet Warriors, are just playing the game like everyone else, there contribution is what gives synapticon the commitment to make more updates towards this game, so it brings income. Hacking / abusing exploits are things that will be patched if you report it to synapticon, so don’t worry much about that as long as you give time to fix the issue.
With all of that being said, the one thing that is currently a problem in Skyshard Heroes is the PvP. Nothing new being said, but let’s recap a few things:
1. Lvl 100’s, who been playing for over a month and has a razo, defending a tile in conquest from a Lvl 15 who joined the game last week.
2. Rival players with too many high lvl buildings at there level. [By camping at there level for a long time by NOT attacking AI or players; gain no xp, but continue building through resource productions. Mostly alts.]
3. Same Rival players who camp at there level, attack you, so a player who been lvl 15-20 for a month and slowly progressed there buildings to a high lvl, is fighting someone who just turned lvl 10 within there first 24h. They get slaughtered.
Let’s cut to the chase. I support Manaco’s idea by allowing a timer in Conquest Map where if you don’t defend within the time, you can’t defend it. I absolutely love this idea. So even though high lvl players earned there way to defeat low lvl players, a strategic tactical assault on tiles at the same time gives low lvl players a chance to take back tiles by quantity over quality, considering quality always has the advantage atm. And the second thing is players who camp at there lvl to get a advantage is ridiculous. Idk how to fix it, maybe a lvl req for some buildings so a bloody lvl 26 can’t have five lvl 8 archer towers/ flame bunkers, five of ea lvl 8 resource buildings, etc. I don’t even think some lvl 60’s+ have anything near that, why do lvl 20-30’s have to suffer from these players :L.

EDIT: Another idea, list people in rival page by HOW LONG THEY HAVE PLAYED. I rather fight people who played less than a week like myself than play with someone who played for a month but camped at there level. If someone hasn’t played for days, don’t count them. Just days they log in.
