I am successfully on the game atm with v. 1537, firefox 18.0, and flash 10.4.something. Maybe it’s FP11 that’s causing the problem?
Edit: To specify because of the above post, I just now loaded the game (a minute ago or so).

I’m guessing he meant 35000 gold….. In any case, that has worse stats than Khobbit and moves 1 pixel per hour. MAYBE 3 gold. 4 at most. Make the hp aptitude over 300, increase movement speed, and don’t EVER make a hero weak against a status effect…. and then, maybe it would be good for something. Still not sure even then.

When losing an arena battle, you’re supposed to get 1/4 exp and gold, but I’ve been getting 1/4 OF 1/4. I think it might be calculating the 1/4 exp first, and then changing it to 1/4 seperately. In any case, arena losses are currently giving 1/16 instead of 1/4 exp.
