Letters are tangible. Just try feeling Braille. Braille is ultimately just letters. How do you feel something that isn’t tangible?

well if you think about it you’re not feeling letters, you’re feeling bumps set in a specific order, that has been labeled as a number or letter, you’re not feeling the letter itself.

the lobes and whatnot, basically even at 18 your frontal lobes aren’t fully developed so letting you drink a substance that even further impares your judgement and reasoning skills, isn’t probably the best idea.

that’s what i hear is the reason for the drinking age limitation atleast.

I’m surprised you all haven’t realized with the numerous amounts of religious threads in the past, that no matter how much evidence, no matter how much you argue, you’ll never change someones mind, there’s a reason people believe what they do, and most often that reason isn’t something that can be swayed by some random person on the internet.

for one the Majority of the soldiers you all are referring Don’t have a choice as to where they go, what they do, and for the matter who they kill. They are a soldier, sworn into a contract that says that to the best of their abilities, they will protect, serve, and obey.

If you don’t agree with being over in Iraq, afghanistan, where ever don’t blame the soldier, blame the government that sent them there.

1.just know that they’ll still be your parents no matter what. and that you’re not alone.
most of my friends(including me) have all had their parents divorce.

2.chubby? start working out. not much. even a 20 minute jog every morning will help, cut out soda. And Eat smaller meals more often throughout the day instead of Larger meals less often.

3.Geek? eh. be proud of who you are, i’m a anime watching, mmorpg playing, vanessa carlton(DAM RIGHT I LIKE HER) listening to kind of guy. don’t let what other people think affect you.
also! selective conversation! you don’t have to change yourself, you just need to learn what friends are going to want to talk about what.

and as for girls?
Every girl is different. but just get the basics down.
Confidence!(but not arrogance)

A girl loves a guy who isn’t shy and not afraid to embarass himself, and yet at the same time not be a douche about it.

Comedy! :D
everyone loves a funny guy, girls or guys. jokes are fine, but honestly situational humor works best, be funny in the moment. and goofy/wierd funny is fine too. just try not to go overboard.

and last.. appearance! you don’t have to dress like any particular clique. But be clean.
shower regularly, if you have facial hair keep it trimmed and looking nice. if not.
make sure to stay clean shavin’. don’t wear ratty clothes, or on the opposite end overly flashy clothes.

oh! and forget the guitar.
learn to play the piano.. trust me. big boost with the ladies..

oh yeah!
Never go after a girl with the sole intent of dating her.
try to just be her friend first, dating can come later.

1082 friends, now i don’t know for sure but i’m guessing the majority of those she hardly knew.
so the whole “out of 1082 friends all either ignored or thought she was lying”

in reality half probably didn’t even see the note.
a quarter who saw it didn’t know her well enough to feel the right to do anything.

and the rest, well who knows.
since someone posting a “real” suicide note on facebook is what i’m guessing to be a relatively rare occurrence.
and alot I would say, did not take it seriously, or did not know exactly how to react.

on the topic of suicide, I believe as long as someone holds no large ties to this world
IE. large debts, financial or familial obligations, and their death itself wouldn’t cause any major problems.

it’s their right to do what they wish with their life.

now me personally I think the idea of suicide is ridiculous, and i’ll fight to the very last breath in any situation.
not for self preservation, but for the idea that i can do more good than harm with years of life, than death.

now true each persons situation is different.
but there is always ALWAYS, a choice. Even if the other path is harder that just ending it.

and honestly i think they’re cowards(mostly)
as has been said, people say it must take alot of courage to kill yourself.
and that’d be true. if one day you just up and deciding “whelp, i’m gonna kill myself”
with no reason. which usually isn’t the case, most cases people are running away,
from their lives, their situations, their pain, their troubles, their. “Hurt”

they’re not killing themselves because they have the fortitude of will to do so, but because of their cowardice towards facing their own lives.

How could I understand?
I could not, I have not been in their situation, and neither has anyone else.

So who am i to force my ideals on someone else?
I am not, I have already said that I am in favor if someone wants to kill themselves.
but that does not mean i shall respect them for it.

I like arguing.
even if it’s with myself.

coming up with a cure, does not mean problem solved..
we have cures for hundreds of ailments, and yet people all over the world suffer from them
and I swear to physics if someone says “prove it” or “link” i’m gonna leap through the internet and strangle you.

which brings me to my next point. just because you save someone’s life doesn’t mean they’re gonna contribute to society, infact many people do the opposite.

The point is, people aren’t generally good. people are selfish, greedy, ignorant, and cocky creatures. In order to rid the world of disease, to rid the world of starvation.
we need to do alot more than just find a “cure” and fix distribution problems
we need to fix people, in terms the “general populace” needs an overhaul.

and this applies to everything. pollution, starvation, education for those who need it, we have ways to stop it. but not enough people want to fork out the effort, the time, or the money to do it.

Anyways. as shallow minded and cynical as it sounds, there’s already enough idiots in the world, we don’t need clones of them..

that when the end result becomes that there’s too many mouths to feed, too many disease ridden people to take care of… most would say the world is already overpopulated as it is.

in the world we have today there’s thousands of people in hospital beds that are truly doign nothing more than just waiting to die. there’s millions upon millions of starving people all over the planet.

now am i saying the sole reason for this is over-population?
no ofcourse not, but shoving even more people into the world isn’t going to help.
