No, I haven’t read every thread of this forum, it would take hours… anyway screenshots are very easy to falsify. They should consider a more reliable way for this.

Seriously, are screenshots really the best way to prove how many pumpkins you have? Have you ever heard about Photoshop?

Totally agree with Crystaliss. The 2nd part of the Arena is a joke, the few top players are having fun with it, the others can watch and feed them with gold (I hope it won’t happen often).
And about the championship… thank you for thinking about european players again and putting the championship to 19:00 server time, which is about 4 a.m. in Europe… I thought you learned something from the Alliance Wars, but you failed again in choosing the event time.
Please make this game enjoyable for everyone, not just american top players and VIPs.

Topic: Game Programming / SharedObject help!

First of all, if you have to save ALL variables to restore the state of the game, you make something wrong. Why dont you just save the number of levels the palyer completed, the scores he got on them, and maybe the achievements? Try to focus on the minimal information needed to be able to continue the game.
Secondly, as Draco18s mentioned, you have a global reference to the shared object, so you dont need to pass it as a parameter to the saveGame function, and NEVER try to save the whole instance of the game to the hard disk, since ‘this’ contains only a reference to your class instance, which is basically just a memory address, not a real object.
In the saveGame function, you should instantiate the shared object, and save the required data into it.
