I think that Obama is vastly overrated, much of which is his race. His African-American race has been hailed by the media as "amazing" or a "pioneer." I think that his race should play no factor whatsoever. He should be treated like anyone else, which is what MLK wanted. On his views, I think that they are wrong. His "stimulus package" is nothing more than a bunch of pork barrel that could be eliminated. And rescuing the banks is not a good idea. Let the banks fall, and they can fall. The simple fact that they are failing means that they have a bad business model. His plan to raise taxes on the rich is bad. Why should the people who have earned their money be forced to give it up? Everyone should pay a flat 10% or so rate of their income, and that should be it. I also disagree with his views on the Iraq war. To pull out immediately would havoc. Even birth control isn't foolproof. The mother has no right to say whether or not the fetus dies, just as she has no right to say whether or not a human dies.
