Yeah, the game can really be deep if you want it to be or you could just play it without knowing the mechanics its a well thought out game.

The only reason why I care about SR is that it means that I have to wait 2-15 minutes to find a single game. As the amount of players declines the longer the wait will likely get .

Look at the resistance of the amazon. None of them have physical resistance below 2. Now check out the knights notice how many of them have 0 dark resistances. The main purpose of these armor items is to protect against multihit attacks(like double slash). So while many new players are amazed that helene can end up with 12 physical armor its honestly not effective as having the +2 resistance on lets say… Bestor which gives him protection against a whole host of multihit dark attacks. While +2 does not seems like a whole lot imagine if it gave +4 dark resistance instead. At that point it would be OP and thats actually closer to what it was like in beta. It was so OP that people did not even bother using Bestor Prism.

Yeah, with the low number of players the current match making system just does not work. 10-15 minutes of waiting for a match is insane.

Actually I think this is one of the major reasons for the game’s lack of popularity. Its horrible annoying losing a match due to a 1% chance and you don’t feel like you did anything right if you are on the winning end of a crit. Sure you are happy it helped you win but its not like pulling of a big combo in a fighting game or get a string of head shots.

Right now the biggest thing IBO has going for him is that he is not commonly used. So its easier to get a uplifting yelp switch. The fact that he isn’t commonly found in decks gives evidences that he is not overpowered.

You know when a card is overpowered because it will literally be in every deck. This happened with Annex+Feather in early versions of the game, with Balt before knights release and with Bestor before the prism nerf. Edit: But I am impressed with the OP’s original post its not often you get this type of post from a new player.

I did it, I got it! I now am 86/86 and will end up with two tarot cards. Now I guess the next question is… is there still any reason to play this game?

gun can never do a lot of damage, despite him looking impressive, u never get to use cold steel ax… (unless ur opponent is awful..) so it’s only ram and his light attacks (his light attacks suck… in most cases), ram can be ok, but again, since ram is his only good attack, he lacks utility…

as starters go, most starters don’t have girdle…
and ox is not usually used as a starter anyway…

Let me also add this…

Not only does Oxbox have the potential to do more damage he has the potential to take out a whole lot of characters without taking any damage due to his stun a single stun would mean he can dish out 80 damage (before armor) if he was switched in that is 95 if you calculate his innate.

For the last couple of months player volume has been on a great decline. The average amount of players went from hundreds to under 20 on any given day. As far as I know there are know further balance updates planned in the future and no more new cards.

If you want to be better at the game start off by reading the game guide. Then going up against the kongbot to get a grasp of the game mechanics.

Since the very first card release. Every card challenge has bean featured on “featured games” on the front page. Could mean someone just forgot but more likely just marks the ends of the game.

Well its the only card I have left so it will be the next card I win, if I can manage to win a card before I complete the challenge.

As for the card it self I think it should work on all characters, I mean its something used to predict the future. Why would it only work on men? Are men only predictable and no I don’t think that would make it over powered.

I only have one more card to acquire, the tarot card. If I want two of them I have to grind it out for the “k” version. Is it worth it?

I mean its getting harder and harder to even find a match especially if you want to play ranked and you are about skill rank 40.

And are there even any viable decks that need two tarot cards?
