Topic: Tap Adventure / Friends who always have this running

I’ve added a lot of friends for this, but for anyone interested I usually will have this game up and running for at least 12 hours a day.

I wanted to make a thread for people who are usually active on here at least half of the day, if not longer. Might be slightly more useful for other folks to identify and friend us, and us friend each other. That bonus is worth the effort I think.

Of course, anyone who would like someone who is usually on, please feel free to go ahead and add me as a friend.
Thanks in advance!

Topic: Tap Adventure / What you want to improve in this game? [created by developers]

Please take the pop ups window’s out of the fairy hits!!!!!
I understand revenue and wanting to make money, and having the “video” option for bonuses is cool, but put it on the menu side.
In the “gem” section would be excellent.
Also, that leveling bug on the Archer 200 series (amount of gold to level) really should be fixed.

But FFS please take the fairy popup offers out. Things like that make me NOT want to spend money, since ussually they are a sign that the Devs are cashing out from the game, and just trying to drain the last bits of money.
This is a fun game, and it has plenty of building potential.

Seconded. I wrote a different post as well, but I’ll hop on this.

First: thank you guys, this has fun beginning gameplay and a lot of potential.

However, there has been almost no difference to my gameplay in the past four weeks. When I reset, it takes days for diamonds to start to be generated. My cash flow, while obviously higher, hits an ceiling right away, and saving up for two or three days to get a x10 in one catagory, while diamonds aren’t increasing, and neither is XP, is tedious at best.

We aren’t asking for instant gratification by any means, but when, gameplay wise, I am in the almost exact position I was one month ago, and on my next reset I will have to play for at least two weeks, just to start to show any forward progress from this point, the game becomes to slow.
Sure, I can just log on once a week, and see how things are going.
This does not help yall at all, nor is it fun for your players.

Briefly, XP needs to be revamped. Playing for a few months to get to the second zone is too much to ask.
Prices need something done. At first it is fine, but the exponential increase leaves us stuck after a certain point. Waiting for days (without diamond gain) to increase something 10 times, is too slow.
Diamond gain should start right away after reset. I think, at my current rate of gain, unless I screwed the math up, it would take me some 3 years of playing this, to hit the first trillion (and I think that is optimistic honestly) because diamond gain is not exponential.

Again, thank you for the game. We just want to see this grow and become successful! I, at least, am not trying to bitch and complain.

Topic: RockerBox Tycoon / XP and Diamond gains?

Thanks Rob! I really hope that, if this is the case, this will be something corrected.
It seems like a horrible flaw to game play, especially at the upper levels.
I have been playing with regularity for almost four weeks, and being stuck in the 1st zone, still after all of this, is wearing thin.
Instant gratification is by no means required, but the prices to advance materials skyrocket rapidly, and having to stay in the same play over a week to even start to approach the point of doubling your starting diamonds, being in no way closer to advancing to the next zone, simply makes it seem like the game is stalled.
Hopefully, if this is a common problem (if I am not doing something wrong myself to slow things) our devs might lighten this up a little.

So I’m not entirely certain how exactly they work, but something seems a little messed up.

After playing and resetting a few times, I left the same “game” on for about 6 days, I earned a nice bit of money and diamonds.
Activated diamonds, and hit the next world 5 million diamonds richer.

The problem though, is that for the first three days, there seemed to be almost no diamond accumulation (was listed as zero diamonds) and I’d almost swear that despite being picky about how I sell on the market, I seem to be making money at a slower pace than before, despite the advantages that those 7odd million diamonds bring (as opposed to the 2 odd million beforehand).
I also seem to be accumulating diamonds more slowly.
I could swear that I pretty much advanced my “units” about as equally as I had done before, maybe even faster.

Now, I realize this is a free game, and I am certainly not trying to bitch and whine. What I am wondering though, is if there is an explanation for this apparent slowing down, plus the definite delay in diamond production (until day four at least) of this cycle.
Thank you!

Topic: AdVenture Capitalist: General / Request - End of Surge countdown timer

Given the issues with the offline bug (sometimes you make money, sometimes you don’t) I’d really appreciate them either providing an exact time/or timer, and hopefully extend the surge.
Not to sound greedy, but it really sucks not being able to take advantage of something this cool and or useful because of a glitch, and not being able to stay logged on because you have to get work done.

Topic: AdVenture Capitalist: General / New update

Nice new layout, but there is no offline progress. Somewhat disheartening given the increased speed that I was hoping to use to offset the time lost in the great crash. Not sure if investors are slowing down, but my forward progress does not seem to be what it was before, even with the speed boost accounted for: ie it is still faster, but does not seem to be anywhere near 15x as fast

Topic: AdVenture Capitalist: General / Do you like the new design?

I think that this new version would make a great “other game.” It has a fun kids look to it.
I liked the old version a lot, I think the lay out was somewhat “business like” and the stress ability was interesting.
Not to sound like a stick in the mud, but this version, I feel really just has a very immature “fun” look to it, again something great for kids, but this lack of an actual economic business feel to this version is a bit of a downer.
I’m sure yall worked hard on this, and I’m not trying to be mean. I just think the old visual interface made for a really great business/investor game for adults.

Topic: General Gaming / The "What was that game called?" Thread

Game description: You control a “zeplin” and plot points for a convoy to pass to while you move your zeplin around shooting at threats to the convoy.
Power up section included bigger guns, fast sailing time etc.

I dont even know if this would be under strategy or shooter. Could have sworn I saw it on here, but I cannot find it nor can I remember the name. It was a rough graphics game I think, but the game play strategy was excellent and challenging

Been searching for a game for awhile on a number of sites, and given Kongregate has probably the best selection and most knowledgeable gamers thought I’d ask here.

Does this seem familiar to anyone? I realize its a fairly vague description, but any ideas would be welcome and appreciated.
Thank you all for your time. -JR
