And this topic has scrolled off the first page. I sincerely apologize if I’m violating a rule by bumping this topic. On some boards it’s allowed and some boards it isn’t, so I don’t know.

Maybe that other post was “tl;dr?” Here’s a really brief summary;

Frantic 3 has cool music that I want, but google won’t give me anything, and decompiling the game didn’t work for some reason. Anyone know where the music is?

I’ve been trying to download the music that plays in Frantic 3. With most games, it’s easy enough; look up the artist, go to the proper website, download.

Frantic gives a couple artist names on the title screen. “Reone662” and “kelwynshade,” both of which link to websites. Reone leads to a Newgrounds account with no uploaded music. I’m guessing Reone used to have it there, but took it down for some reason.

Kelwyn leads to a website that says “This domain has expired and is pending renewal or deletion.” Nice. Kelwyn also has a newgrounds account and a bunch of music. I haven’t looked through it all, I’ll admit, but the song “+ Final Front +” is indeed from Frantic 1 and 3, so that’s cool. I don’t think anything else is by Kelwyn, since the newgrounds version of this game says Final Front is the only song by Kelwyn that is used for Frantic 3.

So, I’m still looking for Reone’s stuff. What about Google? Well, “Frantic music” is not an uncommon google, so that doesn’t go well, with or without “3” “game” “kongregate” whatever. “Reone226” doesn’t fare any better, and Youtube is the same way.

I found a site that lets you download the Frantic 1, 2, and 3 as games, so that’s useful. From there, it’s just a matter of decompiling the files and extracting the songs, right? I’ve done it before. Frantic 1 and 2 gave up the music quite easily.

Well, Frantic 3 is being fussy about it. There are 26 sound files packaged in Frantic 3, from what my decompiler tells me. 24 of them are just SFX. The other 2 are songs: the level 2 song – the same song as Frantic 1 – and the boss theme. But aren’t there 7 songs in Frantic 3? 5 level songs, a boss song, and a menu song? Where are the other 5?

This has happened before; I once played a game that stored its songs on an online server and imported them when the game was run, for some reason. If you played offline, those songs wouldn’t play.

Well, that’s not happening here. On or offline, all of Frantic 3’s music will play. So what’s going on then? Where is the music?

Can anyone tell me where I’m going wrong here? Is there something I’m missing?

I have the inverse problem. I can’t seem to log out. My friend Shawn played on my computer first and apparently made a character named “shawnm16.” I’ve tried logging out with the Log Out button, but all that does is bring me to a screen that says “You have been logged out.” It never leaves that screen; I once waited 15 minutes. So, I refreshed and started playing again, but apparently I’m still “shawnm16.” What am I doing wrong?

Every time I try to play a game, it appears to start the page fine, but then I am almost immediately brought to a page that looks like this

It seems to replace the game I’m playing with “+keylink_src”. Anyone know what that is?

You can win cards in matches? Does that mean you can lose cards too, like in Triple Triad?

EDIT: Never mind. I read the in-game instructions and whatnot. Now I understand. Sorry for the incredibly newbish question.

I was looking through my card collection and found a card I don’t remember getting: Omega Boosters. It hasn’t been released as part of a Challenge, has it? That’s the only way I ever get cards.

It has a K next to it, if that helps.

Found the problem. Apparently, you can’t log in to some places if the date or time setting on your computer is wrong. That’s the last time I mess with that!

Anyways, I’m logged in, so my problem is fixed.

Also, apparently the game file is not a cookie; I cleared them and still have my game file. I wish it WAS a cookie though. If it was, I could just send it to my sister’s computer, e-mail the staff about my problem, and let this stuff get fixed however slow it needs to be.

On the other hand, I clear my cookies regularly to keep my computer running as smoothly as possible, so…..

Never mind. I digress. I still can’t sign in on my computer.

I cleared it: still nothing. I tried all the steps in that topic: nothing. Short of e-mailing the staff and hoping they get back to me before the end of tomorrow, what else can I try?

I can’t log in to my account on my computer; I’m using my sister’s computer to type this. That would be fine, but all my game data is on MY computer. Yesterday, I beat Gunbot world 1 on my computer, but I couldn’t log in, so I didn’t get the card.

Whether or not I can log in, I need to find some way to get that card! Anyone got a solution?

There should be a custom cursor that appears in game without flashing. If there isn’t, I don’t really know what to say.

The Encyclopaedia has an Artefacts section. Currently, mine has only Ether Crystal, Dreamstones, and Miasmal Chalise. What are the missing ones?

Since Mereador doesn’t technically use “weapons,” there’s technically no “best weapon.” As for inventions, I used the Flamethrower and the Drill. The drill is mostly for fire-type creatures. (you can just barely beat the Fire Elemental with the Drill)

But that’s off-topic. My favorite levelling-up place is the Miasmal Citadel. (I never needed to level once I reached the Dreamshrine.)

I couldn’t find any maps, so I’ve decided to make my own! I’ve only got one completed, but now that I’ve sort of got an understanding of how to make them, more should be coming soon.

There are a couple of things to mention about this map. First, it’s on photobucket. That means there’s a bandwidth limit, which means it might not be around forever. Does anyone happen to know of an image upload site that doesn’t have a bandwidth limit pr, more likely, one bigger than 10 GB per month?

Second, I’m pretty sure I got some things wrong. While moving some things around to conserve space, I started to get confused and some items might have wound up in the wrong space. If you see anything, say something here or just email me at alexfantasia@hotmail.com.

Last, Solakian priests may or may not appear in random spots. I’ve gone through the dungeon twice now, and the second time feels different than I remember. Maybe I’m just paranoid, but do speak up if you see anything.

Topic: Elements / Which Element did YOU pick your first time?

I started with Earth and found it to be pretty weak. ( at least I thought so) Then I moved to Darkness with some Entropy. Over the course of the months, I have slowly shifted away from Entropy and towards Death, and recently from Darkness to Water. Quite a trip I’ve made, isn’t it?

If I ever get my hand on a Miracle, I’m probably going to immediately switch to Light.

This. The gambler does not look like the kind of person who would grumble at defeat or laugh at victory, and the wiseman looks more included to cast a spell at me then quiz me on the Beatles.

Dude, you’re helping neither side, whichever one you’re on.

I can sorta see both sides on this one. On one hand, it’s a stupid idea to play games you hate for badges. But one could argue that it’s stupid to play levels you hate to collect secret items too. It really depends who’s talking.

As for me, I’ll play games that I don’t like for badges to a point. If a game is really bad, I won’t touch it at all. If it’s kinda bad, I’ll go for some of the easier ones. What can I say? I’m a completionist.

I haven’t lost progress per se. I still have the level, but I’m near positive it’s not going to save if I exit out of this window. I’d like to get this level saved.

Maybe it DID get saved, but it brought up an error message? The first time I tried to save it, I also tried to publish it, so maybe you guys can help; check the new levels for “the Calibrator.” It’s meant to help you determine if your stats are right for you. Don’t like it? Doesn’t matter, because it would be practical for me.

In any case, is it there?

Perhaps context will be useful: I was creating a stage, and I tried to “Save” it, but this error popped up. The loading bar never filled to 1%. What’s it mean?
