You pretty much can do a working hack, but in same way – you will get banned for it, ovibiously, all holes if not closed – but known and bannable
So in terms of utility, hack wont do its job, because either it wont work or you will get banned

You don’t need to change a value to see a value. Just knowing where a player always is, in itself is a huge advantage.

Variable modifying, as I already stated, won’t work. Thank you for reinforcing my point.

Finally, i’d like to add that (with no offense meant) that you are obviously not a coder.
Several sites have had hacks up for nearly 6 months now, and nothing has been done about it. Obviously showing the ban system isn’t working.

Oh really? You stated the very same thing i stated before myself, to point out that my knowleage at some point is built not from experience, but from basic things i heard from fellow devs, who explained me some things in a simplified way

3. showing off his location each 10 secs works this way, so you wont be able to get in a bush and sit there whole match undetected

I think that if you see a player, and you shoot him on your client, the server registers that hit as you saw it. If this is true, then the idea that high-ping players dont get hit when you think you’re shooting them is false.

As i said before, game uses all the tricks that is used in any other FPS novadays, to compensate lags and other issues. One of which is Client Emulation of server activity (which works as “forseeing”), which works for everyone on the client side. You dont see people moving like in a stroke disco (jittery in every move), because of that, you see them smooth. And because of that you still can see character models, doing what they were doing before disconnect, untill there will be a timeout and you will get disconnect message in main menu.

SO! When you are having a person who moves with high ping, information about him is always on delay, and it is always delayed on the side of that player. So client not always showing you the actually true position, but thats not the problem of a client, its an issues with that high ping player, which information is delayed.

Additionaly, the damage registering can be recognized by PAIN animation and skills which showing hit or damage, blood is visual

It works for any game, really, except some games have ability to share servers all over the globe easily, so you will have comfy gameplay. Im from Russia and doesnt have sync problems when i play on VK.

Nqss, please confirm or deny this. Let’s settle it once and for all.

As i spoke with lead developer, he told it was tested many times and when high ping player joins the server, it shouldn’t affect anyone except him or people who is trying to kill him.
Because, signals from him and to him are delayed, this way you will experience sync problems (as in any other game) while trying to fire at this person.
There is no compensating process in the game, to worse your connection, to make you equal with your enemy
CW uses wide used systems of the ping compensations, like any other shooter

Thats what you get from technical part of the game

Thanks devs.

One thing I loved about having VIP indicator always on for the enemy team was I can always identify him and then shoot him in the legs and then shoot his head. I could get so much XP this way. Whenever the VIP spawns on enemy team BOOM he’s instantly killed by me ^^

Fuck you devs for making VIPs harder to find and kill and making the game more fair

pretty much why the TE is getting changed in general, to think of other ways, for one team to protect VIP and other team to hunt + team work
