Topic: War of Omens / Spacebar to End Turn

I really hope this keyboard shortcut isn’t removed. I actually appreciate not having to bounce all over, and would prefer more keyboard shortcuts, up to and including “play nth card in hand” and “buy nth card in bank.”

Topic: GemCraft Labyrinth / Loss of Premium status? Anyone else?

Do you know, I was about to say I did, and I was… but although I saw all the trappings and reloaded twice… I reloaded just now and saw the premium edition star. So… Guess I should have tried harder?

Topic: GemCraft Labyrinth / Loss of Premium status? Anyone else?

I bought premium for this game on this account ages ago, and haven’t played in quite a while. I came back to kill a little time, and noticed that it was suddenly showing the invitations to get premium again, and all the premium features were locked. Has anyone run into this before? Is there a known issue, or should I be contacting the creator?

Topic: Clash of the Dragons / is cycle still ok for pvp

By whom was it considered “not fair-play?” The rules of the game are hardcoded. You can’t play torment in PVP, for example, because it says so right on the PVP page, and the system won’t let you in if you have it in your deck. There’s no equivalent for Cycle, because Cycle is a judgment call; short of banning all the cards that could be used in a cycle deck, which would be damaging to any number of non-cycle decks, there’s no way to prevent it being used. Creating meta-rules that can’t actually be enforced would be counterproductive.

Topic: Clash of the Dragons / Cleric of Rensha buff duration bug?

I’ve seen this in a couple of my megabrawls now – Cleric of Rensha is depleted, and the buff shows as lasting for 0 more turns… then fades and ceases to apply. The text still indicates “for the remainder of the battle.” Unfortunately, I failed to get a screenshot. Is this a known issue, or something new?

Topic: Clash of the Dragons / Megabrawl loot bug

NP, Daniel. It’s a common problem with fortune packs and things like this – there are multiple versions of these packs in the system, to separate the old packs from new versions, but only new packs list in the stores, since you can’t buy the old versions. The editor still lists all of them, so people can open the old versions they have left, and random choices can include them now and again. I remember being very confused and concerned the first time I found a premium pack in a Fortune pack and couldn’t get at it in the shop. ;)

It’s a different diamond pack. No +1 Preview from the expansion. You can find it by opening packs through the deck editor.

Topic: Clash of the Dragons / Megabrawls frozen, lost energy

I ran into a Hard Ingrid brawl in which the usual freeze began – drew a card, couldn’t play it, no timer showed even though it was given as my turn. Usually the brawls autoplay out at that point, but this one seems to have frozen completely. I waited ten minutes and no further progress was made, tried turning autplay on – eventually, I just gave up and had to refresh. I did submit a bug report, but I forgot to get the number. Didn’t see any results when I logged back in. Just lost energy and MB points, I suppose, not a major lapse…

Topic: Clash of the Dragons / Flask of Weakening Bug?

Alternately, could we satisfy everyone if we stopped calling it a “bug” and instead called it a “design flaw”?

Because, yes, the card does what it states. Programs by definition do what they are told to do. When the thing they are told to do is at odds with the specification for the thing they are INTENDED to do, that’s a flaw, regardless of how you phrase it. If the purpose of a Flask of Weakening from the card-design point of view was to reduce the power of any opponent, be they PC or NPC, and the implementation increases it for NPCs, it may not be a programming flaw or a bug per se, but it’s a failure of the system.

Topic: Chronicles of Herenvale / Dorgar IV Raid - 45%, under 16 hours... (16:23GMT 12/11)

Seems my raid fell off the share list because too little time remains? At any rate, if anyone is so inclined, I’d appreciate some help in killing this bugger…

Topic: Chronicles of Herenvale / Suggestions

I suggest introduce a checkbox next to pretty much every Stam/Energy-spending-activity button, “[x]Grind”. When selected, the option means “repeat this action as often as it can be repeated exactly as thus.”

So if you go to Battle someone with a potion selected, and click “Grind”, you will battle that person eight times with that potion applied, or until you run out of potions, whichever comes first. If you select it next to “Travel”, you will “travel” until you either complete the quest or run out of energy. With the attack quests, you attack until you run out of energy or HP. Etc, etc.

This would greatly reduce the frustration of repetitive clicking, although trying to spend hundreds of stam on 8-battle increments will still be an enormous unwieldy pain.
