Far too easy, though I may have been lucky. I found very few locked rooms, generally had armor or enough money to buy it, and I never really had a need to use plasma outside of boss-fights.

I am at level 9, so far I found about 20 locked rooms and only 2 keys.
Also, grenades are absolutely useless

How about some permanent upgrades, rather than this powerup nonsense? If you give us a gun, we're gonna end up killing enemies at a range. And, w/out even an upgrade to movement speed or item magnet, we can't really go grab them all that easily.
