in the game all i had to do is sit on the left side of the screen and never got hit

Not godawful for a first try, since it's more than a button clicking game. Obviously, hit detection is a bit of an issue, also try speeding up the character, since it's hard to even try to hit the enemies without being hit. Nice first try, though! 3/5
