I would change all of the text. As Kuchen suggested. When you die there is only one basic text message. You could add a lot of different dialogue based on how far you got. Maybe even give us choices about following our heart or taking an easier path. The ending would tell us how our life was and how we felt about it. There are a lot of possibilities and a lot of ways you can improve it. The text would be my first suggestion. This seems like you started with that idea and just didn't follow through.
