Just to let you know there are no + tiles in tetris. All tetris tiles consist of 4 parts (tetra = 4). And it makes a difference. Also the idea is fine but you cant really build up for tetris especially in early game because your block will vanish at one point.

Nice game, but the grey blocks are a little hard to see against the white background. A couple times I thought I was dropping into a blank area only to be stacking it on top of a grey block
)
