This Defence extra chapter offers you 15 game levels of defence shooting action.
You are the last hope of all your companions in the basement.
You are the best heavy-gunner of the StarForce…
Take control of your twin cannon turret with double fire control and full-custom-upgrades.
Resist for 15 days to the waves of aliens attacking the base.
Each day the aliens’ attack is stronger and longer.
Kill all of them using at best all your weaponry.
Do not forget to catch and collect supplies coming from the Starship, level after level.
Prepare yourself to fight the ultimate battle Vs aliens!

“A” to shoot with Left Cannon only

“2” to launch X-AF Decoys

Interesting that the cannon ends up being more useful than rockets since it doesn't blow up friendly things (turrets/supplies) and pierces enemies. I like the different uses of the weapons in different situations, rather than the typical shooter of "upgrade to the best weapon and win"

Agreed - the aiming is bloody awful and makes things WAY too artificially difficult. The night thing with no decent light + the bad aiming + the overheat/reload/whatever it is that offlines your guns after a bit... just the icing on the cake. I'm sorry man - I liked Darkbase a lot but this is just terrible, TERRIBLE gameplay.

Crashed at the start of wave three. I don't know if it's a memory leak, but if it is, it needs to be fixed before this is playable.
