Extremely bare bones, no pun intended. Yes, you have towers and enemies, but the game moves frustratingly slowly. I'd recommend putting in a 2 or 3x speed option, just so players don't get bored while waiting for the divers to crawl across the screen. Also, a tutorial level, or even an instructions screen, would not go amiss here. I agree with what Triforcepower64 said about the upgrades, but rather than upgrading the skull captain, I'd prefer to be able to upgrade the different tower types, as even the strongest tower is fairly weak against stronger enemies, and the fire rate is kind of lacking. However, despite all this you've got a good start. Your graphics are good, and your music is pretty decent. Best of luck.

With some improvements this would be a great game. All the defenses should not cost the same.
There should be build sites for towers. Enemies should start out weaker and there should be more waves of enemies.
