Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. In order to earn a badge in a Flash game, you will need to complete the badge, then submit a screenshot (showing both proof of completion and your username) as a missing badge report using the report missing achievement option. I think you've got a winner here. It's different, it's enjoyable. I wasn't expecting the boss-fights at all, which were well-handled. And the upgrades are great... only suggestion would be, maybe to add something that shows you how many points you need for the next upgrade. And after a few playthroughs, the upgrades started to feel a taddddd grindy. Still, 5/5 for a great, well-executed idea.

Amazing game! Not only is the art well done but the controls are simple and fun. Amazing and it's very fun getting excited about you getting close to a gift.

Lag seems fine now, oddly enough. Some thoughts: the game is too grindy - it gets tedious; the items will sometimes be where you can't get them (under the floor, in the walls). The graphics, music, and gameplay are all good, though! Just needs a little polish. :-)
