Good job for a first game. Not at all complex... Perhaps add a storyline or more detailed instructions (i.e. what does the energy bar do? Also the smoke/smog)

Should have spent more time on the game. It show that it was half thought out and done quickly.

Shooting is too slow. I'd press the spacebar 7 times before it would shoot. I'd be willing to try the game again if this was faster.
