The mechanics don't match the backstory, if the whole point is that there are too many soldiers then why are you rewarding me for using as few of them as possible?

level 47 lags to much for me to get past i know that you have to shoot the 4 boxes fast and then the treasure chest before it goes down but the first explosion slowed the cannon down but does not seem to slow the green thing or the chest any

in lvl 28 the plate shot my soldier at the wood in other cannon, plus i then hit tresuare in 2 hits.
