Instead of shortening the number of jewels to make a line, try only dropping 2 jewels each turn on easy mode.

A good game with clean graphics that blends the qualities of a couple games into one. (Jewel Quest & Powerballs) I think the difficulty level is spot on, for while efficient ball placement is required for success, why should it not be challenging to post a decent score? When I tire of compiling a body count in other games, I will turn to this one for a change of pace.
