Nice graphic. But i think this game need more balancing. I was only able to beat the last levels with the wizard and the Axt Man. All lower units like bowyer and swordman got instantly killed from the enemie spells (and thats a little bit to OP on "easy" difficulty, or was it normal?)

The game is necessary to improve those units, which you intend to use in battle. If a unit is not improved, it quickly dies. Game on normal difficulty, you can complete using one type of units. It's not easy, but possible. If you use several types of units that will be much easier to complete. On hard and insane difficulty, already need to think about how and what to improve.

If you upgrade wrong, it's possible to screw yourself since you can't refund your spent points. The low level footmen are also worthless since they get cut down so quickly, even when upgraded, so any points spent in them are wasted later.

Also, perhaps a way to redo levels, if you spend your money/gems in a dumb way, then it's impossible to come back =]
