Great game. Like everyone else says, it would be nice to see the enemies more, or... be more enemy like... but the only two other things I can think of is
1) make the dark area a special thing. Like start outside, and have it turn on when you're in a cave, etc.
2) You have the bullets velocity based on how far away the cursor is when you shoot. I'd use that in a puzzle of some kind. where you have to hit a switch across a chasm and get the power of the shot right... etc.
But again... good game.

ya know whats weird about this game from this series. It resimbles.... a GAME. Music, enemies, decent controls. Wow.
