INTO THE ABYSS: An exploration-focused retro-styled side-scrolling platformer in METROIDVANIA genre. ------------------------------------------- v.1.2 Fixed extra life chest glitch Added extra save point just before boss fight Minor bugs fixed ------------------------------------------- v. 1.1 THIS IS REVISITED VERSION WITH FIXED LEFT/RIGHT CONTROLS ---------------------------------------- v. 1.0 This is release version made in 72 hours for Game Jam. It still in beta and may contain minor glitches (such as too much loud music, font miss place e.t.c) but overall this game is complettely playable. I gonna catch all glitches as soon as posible. 玩法说明
Controls:
Keys Left and Right – character horizontal movement;
Key Up – interraction;
Key Z – Jump;
Key M – Map (must be found first);
Key X – Weapon (must be found first);
During progress you will able to learn abilities:
- Map use
- Weapon use
- Double Jump
- Wall Slide

Also, put a checkpoint right before the boss. That's just common sense, really.

There's something wrong with the command response here.
Every now and then the controls just get stuck.

Fun game, but there are a few spots with blind drops which have death below.

Indie developers need to learn to never bind anything to the Z key without giving an option to rebind it. If they never heard of QWERTZ keyaboards, they have no business making games. I'm sorry, but it should be a no-brainer.

Fun platformer, some things so can fix/add. A mute button would be lovely even though the bgm is amazing, gets a annoying after a bit. The shiny spike trap, with how your palette is(greens) the animation blends with the background and often cause me to die not noticing it. Overall fun game you got here 3/5
