简介

Scrabble meets Space Invaders! Make words from a row of letters and tunnel your way to the high scoring double and triple word score letters.

玩法说明

Make words from the letters along the bottom of the board. They have to be at least 4 letters long. The longer the word the higher its score:

* 4 letters earns 1 point
* 5 letters earns 2 points
* 6 letters earns 3 points
* and so on...

Blue letters multiply the word score by 2. Red letters multiply the word score by 3. Note: only the highest multiplier is used, so don't use more than one multiplier at once.

If you get stumped. Click one of the little flying saucers in the lower right. That will change one of your letters (at random) to a wildcard. You can use the wildcard as any letter of the alphabet. Note: each wildcard letter subtracts one point from the word score.

As you make words from the letters, your score increases. When you can no longer make words or when you have cleared the board, the game ends and your score is recorded. Your high scores are shown on the right of the game display.

If your score is especially high, or if you accomplish other goals during the game, you will be awarded a trophy.

A cool concept, but would be better if you got to choose which letters are to be used in word choices. Other than that..., it's pretty flippin' gay!

Preening is in the dictionary. It must not have been on the board. The game currently uses the first letter it can find starting from the center and working out. Part of the strategy is working within that constraint, but I agree that perhaps just letting you click to build up words would be better.

My original expectation was that it would be a fast-paced game with focus on multiplayer where entering words with the mouse would not be feasible. But most people play single player and like to take their time and come up with high scoring words, so more letter control is more useful.
