Maze Mouse

You should probably say that the bulk of the game mechanics are a standard Stencyl sample, as are most of the graphics. You've added some levels, a title screen, splash logo and a hidden room (although movement on the title screen seems a bit picky).

It is very repetitive, you need to add more to it before it's a whole game. My suggestions would be creating some different walls. 4 corner pieces, T's, and straights. Also, a simple switch and a block to remove it is bland. Maybe add something along the lines of - fire comes out of a wall, and hitting the switch deactivates it? - Something to get you thinking about what direction you want to take it. A good tip for the future is to plan your games before you code them. Come up with a solid, original game, decide what all you want featured in it (sprites you'll need to create, game mechanics, and common objects such as enemies and their functions in the game.), and use the Waterfall method for each step. Such as, start with your first menu, the main menu, and use this :

Nice game, but the little guy moves really slowly, so it takes a long time to get around each maze.

The three mazes I've seen so far aren't super awesome, but I'm sure it gets better. Overall, i t's good for a first game.

Well considering this is your first game sly is not too bad but then again it's not too great. The graphics are okay (not too bad) and the objective is simple, but it's repetitive by doing the same thing over and over again and no music so it does tend to get boring Too short and way too easy. Overall 3/5 stars, Just have some testers and don't worry you'll get better. Good job for your first game.
