Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. In order to earn a badge in a Flash game, you will need to complete the badge, then submit a screenshot (showing both proof of completion and your username) as a missing badge report using the report missing achievement option. It is a casual arcade game where the emphasis is to catch and absorb solar flare energy. The game combines old-school reflexes with time management. You must try to absorb solar energy whilst not being sucked into the star by its gravity.

Mouse positioning, aim your ships at solar flares of a matching colour and avoid flares of a different colour.

The timer continues to tick while the game is paused. Aside from that bug, I feel that the sun's gravity (if not the gravity mechanic as a whole), while an interesting game element, isn't actually fun to work against.
