the key won't work on the cupboard under the couch. Have tried five or six times (reloading the game and try again). I know this is the solution, but it doesn't work :(

ok i know from comments and freakin common sense i need to pick one of the ice cubes with the rod... where the hell do i put it. i have clicked it all over the stupid ice block and cube

833, not too bad. The key from the 8-section puzzle disappeared when I clicked it, but didn't go to inventory. Backed out, did the puzzle again, got it this time.
