Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. In order to earn a badge in a Flash game, you will need to complete the badge, then submit a screenshot (showing both proof of completion and your username) as a missing badge report using the report missing achievement option. "Starfighter: Disputed Galaxy" has now been running for a year on Kongregate and is still going strong (well... fairly). to celebrate I bring you "Starfighter: Defender", a simple turret defence game based on the SF:DG engine.
Choose to defend either a human or an alien sub station against incoming enemy space ships. Features, all the secondary weapons from SF:DG and friendly ships that will assist you.

Mouse to aim and fire. Space to fire secondary weapons.

This is awesome! I love Starfighter: Disputed Galaxy and this a cool twist. Would be nice to see upgrades and a store or something like that. Maybe be able to buy ships that defend base, have weapon slots on base where you can put upgrades or something like that. It does get a little old doing the same thing over and over. Awesome though I love it just like the original.

why do the spend so much resources on capturing a simply substation? 150+ casualities annnd.... YES! we got the weakst structure in the game!!!
