Spectrum test

What you've got so far is pretty good. I really liked the art style, but I'd have to agree with chubbspet about the controls, they feel kind of weird to use. Your character also moves kind of slow so maybe speed him up a bit? I know this is just a test and I realize that not everything has been perfected yet so it's sort of hard to make any other suggestions....
Oh and a question: When you get new armor an weapons (if you do) will your characters appearance change as well? I know that that sort of thing isn't necessary for a good RPG but it goes a long way. Not going to give a definitive rating yet because that wouldn't be fair since this isn't the complete game, but I can honestly say I look forward to the finished product! Keep up the good work!

I thing my comment did not post so short advice. First of all great artwork. More foliage, unique looking characters, better controls, fix ugly faces and fix the bright mountains in the background. I also hope towns are bigger then that. Looking forwward to beta.

Great artwork and I hope you make a beta. My advice is to not make all the rpg characters look the same, unique look for the main character, more foliage, controls are terrible, faster running, and fix the faces they look messy.

strange controls, can't say that I like it. Also, why can't you look up and down? But you said it is a work in progress, so let's see. Not rating this yet.
