Right now in Turkey, peaceful protesters are being beaten to death by police. Go spread the word in the streets; win the next election; and pull the nation out of darkness.

Why am I penguin picking up frying pans and pots? O.o Is it supposed to be some allegory?

Yes, indeed. The (state-controlled) Turkish news media was not allowed to show any footage of the protests. Instead, they showed a documentary on penguins, so the penguin has been adopted as a symbol of the protesters. Also, every night at 9pm, the people who dislike the current government bang on pots and pans to show their support for the protesters.
