Nice retro feeling. The coins and bullets look too similar though. And permanent upgrades (bought by coins from a shop) would be nice...

A fun game. It reminds me of the NES Gradius game. Good stuff.

Not a bad start; definitely hit that early 80's retro vibe and simplistic style. Countless ways to expand, but for now changing either the coins or enemies bullets as Rallik stated is a must; they are way to similar. Keep up the good work.
