3+1/5. +1 for old school!! Until I learn enough flash to be able to understand as3. I found some interesting info about buttons I had forgotten in the flash editor.
Just a bit of criticism. It would look a lot neater if the pictures were somehow cropped and not stretched so much.

personally im going to learn as3 because i dont know too much about as2 yet, and most tutorials (well... i mean tutorials outside kong cause here almost everyone is for as2 xD) and best libs are for as3, but as2 is fine and you can make anything you can do with as3 (with more or less effort, but you can xD)

learn some knowledge, it is AS2, i started in flash 8 .. and no, some people prefer old school, and dont want to start learning again in AS3

I don't understand why people are still writing tutorials in AS1 and using deprecated techniques like attaching script to clips and using scenes. I doubt the sample AS is in anyway reflective of the code being used in the games mentioned at the end of the section. Learn some AS3 (AS2 at least) and understand what classes and methods are for.
