FAQ
What is Surviv.io? A fast-paced, free-to-play 2D battle royale where up to 80 players compete to be the last survivor on a shrinking island.
How do you play? You spawn with nothing and search buildings and crates for weapons, armor, and supplies. The safe zone shrinks, forcing players together until one remains. Move: W, A, S, D. Aim: mouse. Left-click to attack. Right-click to emote.
Does Surviv.io have multiplayer modes? Yes — Solo, Duos, Squads, and rotating limited-time modes.
What platforms can I play on? Play directly in your web browser on Kongregate.

Be the last Survivr standing. Scavenge weapons and gear, stay inside the shrinking safe zone, and eliminate all opponents.

- Stay inside the shrinking safe zone — the red zone deals increasing damage.
- Scopes, helmets, and vests are critical. Always upgrade when possible.
- Adrenaline (soda/pills) restores health over time.
- Break crates and furniture for hidden loot. Explore bunkers for rare gear.
- In duos/squads, revive downed teammates with F.

Honestly, this just seems like a sad attempt to get traffic on to your website, especially due to the success of the other surviv io clone. Having to play on this website and create a Kongregate account is just ridiculous and an immediate death sentence for the game. I really loved the old days of surviv io and im sad to see how it evolved.

Ever since it shut down (I absolutely hated those hackers), I’ve been heartbroken. When I heard recently that it’s back, I felt that no matter what form it takes, it’s worth it. I’ve been playing since elementary school, and its sudden disappearance hit me so hard I almost tried to remake the game myself. Although some clones popped up later—and while they were slightly different from the original—at least they got me through that period. Now that the original is back, I’m going to support it no matter what!
