Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. My only complaint is that spell XP generation seems to be tied to the number of times you cast a spell rather than the effectiveness of that spell's use. For example, a single cast of skeleton warrior that kills everyone on a level gives virtually no XP, while spamming the spell uselessly gives a ton of XP. Similarly, a flawless fireball that kills eleven guys seems to give as much XP as one that missed entirely.
Still a ton of fun though. 4/5 given the weird spell leveling system.

Ultimate upgrades for spells:
Fireball: 3 fireballs instead of 1
Sandworm: Gets bigger
Polymorph: More enemies morph
Curse: More enemies cursed
Locust Swarm: Makes a bigger swarm
Concrete Fist: 3 damage instead of 2
Confusion: Longer confusion time
Desert Wind: Stronger wind
Killer Spikes: 3 damage instead of 2
Spirit Blade: 3 damage instead of 2
Reaper: Health regeneration
Earthquake: 2 damage instead of 1
Skeleton: 3 skeletons instead of 2
Lightning: Bigger lightning
Soul Jar: + mana storage
+ to keep alive.
