Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. In order to earn a badge in a Flash game, you will need to complete the badge, then submit a screenshot (showing both proof of completion and your username) as a missing badge report using the report missing achievement option. A live action puzzle game written for fun in flash. You have to stop your enemies, or "creeps," from traveling all the way across the screen. Tower pieces can be purchased and placed on the map to kill the creeps before they make it across.

1-6 selects a Tower & 0 deselects. U upgrades the selected Tower. S sells the selected Tower. Holding down Shift allows you to place multiple Towers one after the other. Space to toggle pause.

For those curious about how to play Desktop Tower Defense post-Flash with the SuperNova SWF Enabler plug-in, use this address provided below by copying the entirety of it and pasting it onto the address bar at the top of your browser to ensure that it bypasses the ‘GameShell’ issue that have plagued many earlier games of Kongregate: supernova://play/?swfurl=https://chat.kongregate.com/game_files/0000/0492/desktop-tower-defense.swf?kongregate_game_version=1205904559 Make sure that your latest installation of SuperNova works correctly, as it will not function if it cannot load games that can work fine without this bypassing of the SWF files here. As a tip for this game, focus on fewer towers that you can upgrade over time, then work towards expanding them with specific towers for the air units and other types of monsters to ensure that an eventual 'maze' of towers is as robust as can be for the late-game.

@uha1111, hold shift key while placing towers. Also use keys '1' thru '6' to select tower type.

Any chance of someone writing this very same game into some non-flash format? I am a total addict and can't live without it when the flash player gets blocked everywhere :(
