I find it odd that the "player" doesn't stick to the moving platforms.

they're getting better. I recommend you take a look at how to install the kongregate stats API. There's not much to it, you don't have to install anything just put in a few lines of code where they instruct you to.

pretty impressive platformer if it's your first game. nice score system, and the game is a bit more challenging since you have to move your character with the moving platforms.
