Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. In order to earn a badge in a Flash game, you will need to complete the badge, then submit a screenshot (showing both proof of completion and your username) as a missing badge report using the report missing achievement option. A cool game which changes in character as it goes: you start with nothing and gather and upgrade your way to managing a group of workers and building your own tycoon. In the end you will have helped a gnome who found himself in a pinch on his way from rags to riches.
The game features original gameplay, two difficulty settings and in-game leaderboards for players to compete for the best completion time.

Game is stuck for me on the load screen. I hit 'PLAY' and the button goes away but nothing happens.

@Daemon Did you make sure you incremented your food intake? You need to click the arrows next to the food types to pick what you want to eat. If you aren't sufficiently fed by the option, then the proceed button will not light up.

Figured it out -- you need to allocate foodstuffs -- it doesnt do that for you. It should say something like "You need to feed your workers" when you click on proceed when you haven't done that allocation.

This game shows promise, but seems lacking in polish. My gnome can eat more than one thing each eating, but only if I chose to. Resource consumption is not paused when in menus, and you restart after tutorial. If these things are fixed, then atleast 4.1 stars!
