This game was made for LD28 in 48 hours. The theme was “you only get one”, so I went for an extreme interpretation and decided that the game will only let you play and make a score ONE TIME.
So make it count :)
(I know it's frustrating, but it's the point)

I didn't actually sense any rhythm to the game, it was just pressing combinations of arrow keys and space.

Mashing keys have no penalty, but removes all challenge. I get you were trying to make some kind of YOLO point, but this isn't much of a game.

Interesting concept, but A. no rhythme whatsoever, so it's essentially just random chance B. No real goal, meaning it's just a shlog, C. No penalty for button mashing, meaning you don't even have to try.
