Well... sounds and music could add a bit... then... I recommend updating your game by adding features Pong did not have... That could help a lot... :D

Might need a little work on the ai, i managed to beat medium without even touching the paddle.

If you're mostly interested in graphic design within games, pong is a fine place to start. If you're interested in coding games, I'd take a hard look at your AI...the behavior is really predictable. If you actually want to design games, I'd look at the characteristics of YOUR game that you want to be known for. What is it about this version...your version...that is different?

Add bounds-checking to insure the ball and bats do not travel beyond the boundaries of the playing area. Also, doing a simple sign-change on the vertical velocity of the ball when it strikes a bat is not sufficient. You need to deal with the ball striking the edge of the bat (especially with bats this thick)
