Dear Elizabeth, It has now been four days on this rollercoaster, with no food or water. The cars constantly jump the track, only to land on another segment. Despite my exhaustion, the noise and constant terror keep me awake. People can see us. They're taking photographs. I don't understand why they aren't doing anything. Why won't they help us? Why won't they put a stop to this? I pray that, should I never see you again, this letter at least someday makes its way to you, my love. Tell Junior I'm so, so proud of him. Love, Edmund
