Defend your castle from the evils that lurk below in this unique tower defense strategy game! You will need to dig deep into the earth to uncover treasures and destroy the enemies threatening your castle.

Your foes will follow the path you dig so you must decide… Will you dig long and winding paths to slow your enemies down? Will you dig in search of treasure to help improve your defenses? Or will you dig up the cursed skulls that increase the power of your enemies but grant you greater rewards? These are the decisions you must make as both you and your castle grow in power!

CONTROLS:
Mouse Only. Click and drag up and down to scroll.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Your goal is to dig to the bottom of each level and destroy all the enemies beneath your castle. Each time you dig downwards (into the fire) you will release the next wave of enemies!

To earn a 3 star rating you must:
- Finish the level (1 star)
- Protect all your summoning stones (1 star)
- Collect every skull along the way (1 star)

IMPORTANT:
Collecting skulls increases the difficultly of the enemies! This is hard mode! So if you're having trouble AVOID the skulls and come back later after you have upgraded more skills.

Game Updates:

1. Fixed a bug where the level star count was not refresh after finishing level 45.

2. Fixed a bug where the price of a support tower was not reduced after one was sold.

The digging part adds a whole extra layer of strategy which I really like. There's not enough of these tower defense games trying new things. 5/5

I really do like the idea, but I feel it could be so much more. The blocks doesn't have to be that big wich means you can have bigger maps and therefore longer levels. And I really would like to build upwards. Sure, the digging should have a part off the strategic planing, but no it feels like the digging is the whole thing.

Thanks for the great feedback! You can probably tell this is my first tower defense game so I've tried to keep it relatively simple and just focus on the main mechanic so that I could actually finish it (and see if people like it). But I do have lots of ideas for how to make it bigger and better so if this does well enough expect a sequel :)

This is actually a pretty sweet concept to a TD. Most TDs either have 1) a pre-determined path or 2) a path you make through towers (and a wall/defence block). This way, you have to slowly mine that path out and create towers along it, while trying to go for gold and stuff like that. Bravo, this is great. 5/5

it would be nice in the upgrade panel to be able to do +1 or -1 with the upgrades instead of reseting and resetting all.
