Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. In order to earn a badge in a Flash game, you will need to complete the badge, then submit a screenshot (showing both proof of completion and your username) as a missing badge report using the report missing achievement option. Spoiler: There is a hidden ending. If you notice, in the underworld there are white bug things. You can collect them. On the level were you can actually get to the angel, you should notice the bugs, now in cubes, in the underworld. If you collect all of them, you can get to a teleport. The angel is standing on the other side...
To get the first bug, you must die on the first level. (Use the weird cherry enemy). The rest are found in various locations in the underworld. The alternate ending also provides a hidden level.
If you already completed the game without getting all of the bugs, you can start a new game. The bugs you already captured should transfer over.

Death is not an option. It is necessary.

Very good. The music is haunting, the underworld is very cleverly done.

Beautiful and extremely innovative. When I got to one of the puzzles I said to myself, "Could that possibly work? Could the game possibly allow this?" and sure enough, it did. I felt like I'd accomplished a great feat.

Extremely clever game. And artistic as well. And it even plays fluently. Those three things together are rare. That's easily a 5/5.
