Some news.

Idle Empire 4 will be really BIG project! It will target for really long gameplay. Also, there will be rebirth system that probably you never saw before.

Game is still in early developement. Release date: Q1 2019.

Main features:
1. “Several games” in one game. There will be a lot things to do. When you are done with city management, go ahead and fight for new terrains, battle bosses or try some minigames and events.
2. UNIQUE rebirth system. Too much to explain, but I’m pretty sure there is no idle game that used it before. In my opinion – it should remove impression of boredom when you need to do everything over and over again when you reset your game to get back your progress.
3. 1000% better performance. I’m using HTML5 instead of FLASH, that will be much faster.
4. Save system, that let players download their save in case of losing it. Also planning to include cloud-save later.
5. I’ve got over 300 responses in the survey from last year. You told me that the biggest issues from IE3 are:

• Very slow progress after some part – This time I will make sure to test game long enough to balance it better
• No end game content, not much to do – IE4 will be like 3 games in one, so….yeah there should be enough content
  6. Unfortunatelly, i can’t do much with to improve graphics and typos – I’m only programmer, i’m buying ready graphics from web. To make it better, I would need to hire a graphic designer- but it will cost me way more than revenue from the game. About typos – I’m european citizen, english isn’t my primary language. It’s not even my secondary language. I learnt it on my own from games and internet, but it can’t be perfect. I’m sorry.

Hello eveyone,

I have some news for you.
Some people know what happened, some people not but around year ago i needed to stop my activity on kongregate.
The reason is in my last message in Idle Empire 3 (from January)

I wanted to stay outside my country for 3 months, things has complicated when I received promotion at work. I decided to stay for longer time. Also I bought laptop but could’nt find enough time for programming.

After 10 months, I came back to my country week ago.
Now my situation is stable. Now I can and I want to focus on programming.
I want to give myself 4 months for it. I won’t search job in that time, I will spend that time on programming. If I will be able to live from my games revenues I will surely continue it. If not? – we will see, I won’t stop programming because it’s my passion but I will treat it as hobby, not as job so I will have much less time to spend on projects.

My plans? My last projects was written in flash language. It’s old, slow and not worth to continue with. I just bought new licences. Next projects will be released in HTML language. There won’t be performance problem like in my previous project, because HTML is hugely faster than flash. Also, It will be much better for me. I will be able to create and optimalize projects faster and easier.

About games? My next project will be Idle Empire 4. Already I found idea for it. Like usually – gameplay will be totally diffirent than in previous parts. I will let You know about features later. I just started to write it’s code so nothing is ready yet.
I want to finish Idle Empire 4 until end of year, but I can’t be sure. I’m learning totally new programming languages for me. It’s not that hard, but still takes a lot of time.

Idle Empire 3? I’m not planning to add more features for now, I’m learning new language and I do not want to back to flash anymore, but maybe I will make an update soon to fix minor bugs and add more gameplay.
