Ches - Did you intend to reduce plastic production by, at least in the endgame, by a factor of 20 or more with reductions to bioplastic factory? The research description for it has gone a bit funny, saying it benefits circuits and such like as well.
Ches - the game is being reported as malware by google chrome and other browsers.
Everyone - Chrome still allows you through if you click on "advanced", then "continue anyway". Or you can change it in settings > advanced settings > privacy.
I imagine you can do similar in other browsers
I think the distance varies from planet to planet. Although making a spreadsheet of all the times would be helpful. Someone started a wiki a day or two ago, maybe it will end up on there
Wow, I like it, I was just thinking everything had settled down, I had just re-done all my trade routes for efficiency, took a good hour. Everything lovingly calculated, everything growing up nicely and peak efficiency. And then boom. A plethora of new buildings, new research, new materials. Keeping us on our toes I see!
Actually limiting damage to lethal is not quite a fix, there is another subtle bug - the 5%, realistically that should be 5% of damage assigned and firing at the armour, but it is 5% of total damage, so some damage is being counted twice, hence the fact that two million power is leading to a total greater than 2 million damage.
The obvious solution to the battle exploit is for damage ratio to be limited up to a maximum of lethal damage to any one cluster. Or maybe x times lethal, but certainly not unlimited.
So the ships captain isn't directing the whole fleet against just one ship
I feel the ammunition system could do with a do-over. I know it will make it more complex, but at the moment 1 million ammo on 1 fighter doubles its power. And 1 million ammo split between 10 million fighters also double their power. Which in my mind doesn't even sit close to any sort of reality.
Yes that could be done
