Was playing Soul Mirror and in middle I was like “this feeling of hatred and frustration welling up inside me is a lot like how I felt playing Temple of the Four Serpents” and thats when I realized they were made by the same guy.

I can’t blame Greg for the “Best of the Year 2019” quest. You didn’t give him much choice with the only High Score being for game completion. And with a platformer that is fairly challenging, I am seriously thinking about giving up the quest. The dagger stairs with no place to get a breather, and often one HP already lost trying to get there, it is too damn fast for me. And I think I don’t hate myself enough to get through. I might end up hating you instead, even though I liked two other games you made.

Hello there! Wanted to say I really enjoyed Amidst the Sky, it is nice well built platformer with clever level design.
But one thing bothers me though: I really don’t have a slight idea what endings mean, especially True Ending one. Could you please explain or at least hint a bit? As without explanation ending seems a bit unrewarding.

There is a story, but I intentionally left it (extremely) vague. That way the player can interpret it any way they’d want. I’ve noticed some mixed respones to this though, so I will say that I’ll try to make the story clearer in the sequel.
Actually, might as well hint to some things for now, while still keeping it very vague: the true ending ascends the player to another Realm. The standard ending does not. The main character is not the first one to do so, but might very well be the last.
Will be a while before I get to making the sequel though.
Amidst the sky is a game that just makes you feel amazing when you are just standing around. I love the audio and the way the platforming works is even better. Amazing game
Temple of the Four Serpents is one of the best games I have played on this site, and I have been playing here almost daily for over 12 years. Absolute masterpiece. Thank you so so so much for making such a great game! It is absolutely fantastic. So fun, so challenging, so clean, easy to learn and hard to master. Great job! I love it! Thank you!
Just want to say, I’ve seen a lot of people start small and posting simple games on Kongregate and then after become something more, ending up putting games on steam and living the game developer dream. You honestly seem like someone capable of making big games in the future, looking forward to seeing how far you go and to your future games!
I just played finished temple of the 4 serpents, and played drifting among worlds yesterday, and they were both excellent! And it clearly showed how you got better as a developer! I’m very impressed
