I was raised on 2D platformers. My father was an Atari, my mother was an Amiga 500, I had a Sega Master System for a brother and my sisters were a playstation and a Gameboy colour. I took my N64 to the prom and bought my first PS2 when I was 21. Had a few casual PC’s but nothing serious. Got drunk on Xbox, crashed and ended up in America, then I married a Gamecube and we got us a PS2 trained it everyday, settled down and had us a WII, Xbox and PS3 (who is our youngest)… now just replace the consoles with actual people, a dog and a bike and you know my life story. But yes that is the order of all the game systems I’ve owned that seem to coincide with all the events of my life so far.
