I finally beat the game and discovered what I believe may well be a foolproof strategy with the Necromancer. As I want to help others get the hard badge as well, I posted it in a forum, which you can access easily through this link:

I thought this badge would be far more difficult than it turned out to be, for I got it at the 8th level, having played for an hour at most. I shall repeat the advice of two previous commenters: glide is expendable and holding the up key after jumping lets you attack everything. Luck wasn't a large factor, but lack of lag was.
@nosiepops One can right click and "Rewind" to get some kind of level selection, then click 1. I agree with you on the need of a clear reset button though.
@mbomb007 1. There is hold click. In fact, it is the only working click while fullscreen. 2. Clearly the opponent had 99 life, shittons of Twilight Peacocks and lots of intercept. 3. Please don't double comment <3
I played this game quite a few times when I was little and I never even came close to winning. Today, I came back once more and I knew I would beat it. I was patient and collected 120 ether thrice for the big upgrades, upgrading only a little between them. The game is still very exciting and fun and is so far the only one in this category I like.
@ZombieGUY11 To answer both of your questions, the Ballroom Dance is a lot easier with three iron shells hitting the side. This time, the acid path is not applicable and you have to use an earlier tool.
I would kindly p̶o̶i̶n̶t̶ ̶o̶u̶t̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶e̶v̶e̶r̶y̶o̶n̶e̶ leave a note for myself that this is the first week with a kongpanion that I have all the BoTDs previously earned for.
@hchristopher2671 You never said "per capita" in your first comment. You cannot put that as an argument if your first comment had nothing that implied percentage. My argument stands.
@hchristopher I am almost certain there are a lot more uncultured people in the USA than there are in, for example, Canada, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, Andorra, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Vatican, Luxembourg, Austria, Hungary and every other country with a lot less population than the USA.
What you stated was not a fact. It was a lie. The badge creator is nowhere near oblivious. It is fairly obvious that instead of your seven languages, you should've studied English and maybe law.
This is one of the first games I played when I was a small child and had just got access to the internet. Me and my sister used to love it! It is great seeing this brought to the spotlight again!
I managed to obtain the hard badge. I started with a paladin and a rogue, but the paladin was stupid so a mage I got fourth had to do his work. I accidentally pressed stop two times, ending my days immediately. The 24th day, the dragon was knocked down to 3200 hp solely by the rogue, the next day my mage killed it with a little help from my stupid paladin.
Apparently my mage had 100 attack and over 600 hp. 5/5
Completing the white crystal levels without getting the white crystal are not counted as completions for the hard badge. I had to learn this the hard way.
