I totally understand what you’re saying. However, when I was developing and testing the game, the majority of the testers were complaining about the difficulty, and as such it was scaled down.
When I make games, I have a vision, but I like to tweak that vision if the people playing my game are not happy with it.. So when most of my players dislike something, then I try to tweak it.
Your points are very valid though, and good suggestions. I’m still a bit new at programming, but adding a hard-mode is definetely something I will be trying to implement. I like the idea of being able to boost up the difficulty without scaring away everyone ;)

I visited the romanian channel a couple of times after that to make sure the trolls werent too active :) … Of course I didnt really understand anything anyone was saying so i just waited until some dude started flooding the same text over and over :P

hahah, I am glad :) Peggle is one of my favorite games… not sure if you know this or not, but Peggle is pretty much a Pachinko clone with some added interactivity and a big touch of “westernization” to make it more appealing to the western world. If you like Peggle, you should have a look at some of the japanese Pachinko games, and also check out Orbyx (a pretty neat fantasy/rpg’ish Peggle-clone on Xbox Live)

ps. originally i wanted to make something like a cross between Puzzle-Quest and Peggle when i set out to make Bump n Drop, but its my first real game, so I had to cut out A LOT of features, while I was learning to make games :)
